I look like the Elephant Man

It's been an eventful weekend my friends. Friday was a fantastic day with a great meeting for a new presenting job, news of a screen test for a new television show and a trip to Lithuania to DJ on friday night. Saturday morning on the walk home from the party however and I was set upon, beaten to the floor, kicked and robbed by two guys who were high on drugs. They kicked me in the head and face until I was unconscious.

I resemble the Elephant Man and am I a lot of pain and full of the word 'Why?'. I know that bad things happen to people all of the time, but incidents where no provoking led to the violence merely a case of wrong place at the wrong time near angry and mentally unhinged people, are the hardest to take. Anyway, I am off to the hospital now that I'm back in the UK to have a check-up. I am sure that all of these trials recently are here to test me and although I am weakening somewhat I refuse to let things deter me from my ultimate goals and aspirations. I will succeed against adversity and then reaching my contentment and reverence will be that much sweeter.

Hopefully there is plenty of comic gold hidden amidst my swollen, cut and bruised face. I just have to find it.
