Early Career

Born and bred out of the character-rich East End of London, Jeff cut his teeth in the world of showbiz first as an international DJ and Producer playing at clubs and major festivals throughout Europe and remixing dance tracks for Island Records and Ministry Of Sound. After years on stage performing as a theatrical actor with institutions as globally recognized as the Royal Shakespeare Company he fell into a career on-screen as a BBC television presenter.

During those formative first years on television, Leach worked for many other major networks including ITV, Channel 4, ABC, Virgin Media and Current TV, hosting shows as wide-ranging as youth chat formats, live music festivals, addition therapy series and a couple of award-winning immersive documentaries. He also hosted and produced his own series for London Live entitled Jeff Leach +1 about the most bizarre nightlife activities on offer in the capital. His other accolades include hosting or guest appearing on Big Brother's Big Mouth, Comic Relief's Naughty Bits, Fake Reaction and NBC Sports.

After enjoying years of success on national television, his true passion of acting came calling again and Jeff Leach began to dabble in the art of stand-up comedy as a gateway back to the stage. Within a year of energetic live performances he had won multiple comedy awards for his no-holds-barred material, and went on to tour three national, critically acclaimed, one-hour stand-up shows across the UK and EU.

He also appeared in a number of hit comedy series including The Chaos in which he played angsty, playboy rocker Lenny Benet. The series went on to garner tens of millions of views and led to other roles in films Whipped, ShopGirl Blog and Gutpunch. As a dramatic actor, he performed principle cast roles on the big screen in feature films The Smoke and London Town alongside talents such as Jonathan Rhys-Meyers and made guest appearances on one of the UK's longest running hit series Hollyoaks.

A New Scene

However limitations in the British entertainment industry didn't match Leach's myriad of talent, so he decided to take a leap that most actors and stand-up comics would never dare to… immigration to the USA! After hosting the Promax BDA North American Awards in NYC, he had a chance meeting with the booker of the infamous Comedy Cellar comedy club (considered one of the most iconic comedy clubs in the world) and after wow'ing her with his presence on stage, was offered a permanent place as a new face amidst the USA's comedy elite. This was an offer too good to turn down.

In August 2015, he made his final journey over the Atlantic taking up full-time residency at the Comedy Cellar and beginning his foray into the American entertainment industry. Since then he has not stopped grinding and has achieved some incredible feats. Most notably taping multiple performances for Comedy Central's This Week At The Cellar, being cast as the lead in the new comedy series We Got This (directed by Darryl Quarles of Fresh Prince Of Bel Air and Big Momma's House fame) and using his strong character performance skills to great effect as voice talent in AAA video game titles from the Harry Potter, Battlestar Galactica, Call Of Duty, Star Wars and Total War franchises.

During COVID, Leach would not slow his creative process and continued to entertain his loyal fan-base with daily live streams, producing and hosting over 1000+ hours of comedy and live gaming content each year. These live streams caught the interest of the gaming community and he has now tallied up a powerful following of over 205k fans on TikTok, 84k on Facebook Gaming, 54k on YouTube Gaming and also led to Jeff hosting major activations and events for publishers and studios including Ubisoft, Square Enix, Daybreak Games, Bethesda and BAFTA Games Awards. He has also raised over $150,000 for various charities over the course of the year during his live-streaming career.

Leach is now considered a fresh, exciting new voice dominating on the stages of the Comedy Cellar, The Comedy Store, The Stand, Hollywood Improv, New York Comedy Club, Comedy Cellar Las Vegas and regularly appearing as a comedian guest on SiriusXM, YKWD, Gas Digital as well as hosting his own hit comedy podcast series Savage Snowflake. He has already racked up an impressive resume of accomplishments in just a few short years in the United States and rest assured… this enigmatic entertainer has only just gotten started.
